Instructional Design & Project Management

I am passionate about creating engaging learning experiences. I enjoy helping others define and pursue lifelong learning. I’ve worked as an instructional designer and senior instructional designer in contract and employee roles. I have extensive experience developing online, hybrid, and face-to-face learning experiences for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.

My background includes over 15 years of experience in education. I designed and delivered educational programs for older adults, pregnant and parenting teens, adults with disabilities, high school Upward Bound students, K-12 teachers, and college faculty. I am skilled in teaching across multiple learning modalities and I follow a learner-centered, equity-focused approach to teaching and instructional design.

As the Associate Director for Instructional Design at Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s (IUP) Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), I create professional development opportunities and support faculty members with course design, leveraging digital tools for learner engagement, sourcing high-quality, low-cost resources, developing goals and objectives, and aligning assessments to standards and learning outcomes.

I also serve as an Associate Professor and graduate coordinator for the Education, Training, and Instructional Technology graduate program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. As program coordinator, I’ve designed courses in instructional design, education technology, accessibility, and culturally inclusive instructional design.

Faculty participants are eligible to receive skills badging and certificates of completion to document their professional development.
